It was my intention to start a blog while we were in the US getting everything ready to go. For many reasons that never really materialized.  Then we arrived here and the things we had to do to get settled kept me from starting.  THEN Lee became ill and we just kept putting it off. 

The other day after my Christmas trip home to Dallas, I (Lee) realized I still wanted to blog.  I get loads of questions, and trying to maintain an email list, phone calls, letters, many of you will miss stories and musings you might find interesting.  Some of you may not care at all.  For those of you that do, I will try faithfully to add comments at least every other day.  I will add any new trips and insights going forward that I can and include phtotgraphs and videos.  In addition, we will try and add any back stories you may have missed since we failed to blog for our first two months here. 

Please feel free to share this site with any family member you think may find some interest.  I just wanted to find a way to share stories and musings from abroad and reach the most people in my extended family and friends.
